How it works

1 Confirm Eligibility

To confirm eligibility, you will need to provide your address and know the amount shown on Line 11 (Adjusted Gross Income) from your Tax Return (Form 1040). You will also need to provide the number of occupants in your household and confirm if you have any existing solar

Questions to Prepare For:

  • How large is your home?
  • What’s your typical monthly energy consumption?
  • What type of electrical system do you have?
  • How old is your roofing?

2 Submit SGIP Application

Once we verify your eligibility, we’ll share your custom solar + battery proposal and contract. If you decide to move forward, we’ll submit your SGIP application for approval and hold off on any work until your SGIP Funds Reservation Confirmation has been issued.

  • Forecast of system benefits and savings
  • Battery backup time estimates
  • Overview of expected energy and cost savings

3 SGIP Funds Reservation Confirmation

The approval process can take some time, often involving complex corrections and clarifications. But you can relax because the Bill Kill Company excels in fully securing these rebate funds where most companies are ill suited for the task.

4 System Installation

After receiving the SGIP Funds Reservation Confirmation, and once the SGIP RSSE rebate is funded, we prepare your solar + battery permit application and schedule your system installation.
